I was made to sing this song at a wedding last year and fell in love with it. I decided to record it since the McKnights are in the country!!! Very excited to see them on Saturday. Actually I’m not sure if BRKN RBTZ (Brian Jr. and Niko’s band) are coming to Cebu as well but at least I’m sure to see Brian McKnight.

Aww, all the familiar places…
I see these places he is at almost everyday since I live near where most of the film was shot. And yes, most of the reasons he featured is what is really happening here.
I am also seriously pissed about having the guards pet me everytime i go inside a mall, the overpopulation of sleeping security guards, the heartbreaking sight of street children, plastic bag + receipt + staple wire on the littlest things, traffic rules being just suggestions that no one follow, and all the other shit he was ranting about.
We know that all these dislikes he mentioned are true and it is a really good wake up call for us since we might have tolerated it and got used to it eventually. At least to us it’s a bigger impact that this is coming from a foreigner’s point of view.
But coming from a guy…
-who thinks that thinks that the only hot girls are the ladyboys
-who is very vocal about how obnoxious the Koreans are (racist much?)
-who is very bothered about the fact that the abbreviation MILF here is not something that would give him a boner
-who is bitching about motorcycle noises, cock noises, beepin’, diskoral bass
-who does not even know how to drink Pinoy beer. Without ice? Alone? Come on!!
…then WE CAN ALL CALM THE FUCK DOWN!!!
At the end of the day, he said the Philippines is a beautiful place after all. I bet this guy could still say that it’s really more fun in the Philippines and would totally miss even his dislikes when he leaves.
